Let’s move to samples!

Similar to studies, first you see the table with all the samples registered in the submission, and it has the same features explained previously.
The table is customizable!

To modify the table, click on the eye icon . It will display the column options. You can now select the columns you want to see in the table, it will be modified immediately!
You can also filter objects by column!

Do you want to check only the studies with type Epigenetics? You can filter in the Type column! You can filter all columns as well.
You can also sort the registered objects!

In addition, you can sort the results in ascending or descending order.
You can select all objects!

You can select individual objects in the table by clicking in the checkbox in each row. However, if you want to select all of them, you can select the checkbox at the top. Also, notice the Delete option that appears at the bottom of the table. To delete objects, you can select the object(s) you want to delete, then click on the Delete button that appears.
Let's create your samples!

To create a sample, you have to click on the Add Sample button and start the registration.
Here are the fields for a sample metadata object.

To add the information in each field, you either write it or select from a dropdown menu. Let’s pay special attention to the Alias field. This field must be unique within the submission and once the sample object is submitted for validation it cannot be modified.
The last step for registering your sample!

Once you are happy with the information added to your sample click on the Add button and save it. In case you do not want to save it, click the Reset Form button at the top.
Let’s create multiple samples at once!

So far you can only create one sample at a time. So if you want to register several samples, you can either repeat this process as many times as needed, or select the Batch Upload option.
Download the sample template!

Here you can download an empty template to register several samples at once. Click the Download button and fill up the csv.
Upload your file and register the samples!

Once the csv is ready click on the Choose file button, select your samples csv, click Upload, and you're done! In case you do not want to save it, click the Reset Form button at the top.
